tried to log in to play the new league and my account is locked for some reason. can this be sorted please

If it's specifically saying your account is "locked" then that's typically a security precaution.
The best thing to do would be to reach out to support@grindinggear.com and give them your account name so that they can investigate to see what caused the lock to occur. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.
