Acolyte of Chayula's Void Illusion + Hollow Palm Doesn't Work
The new Acolyte of Chayula notable "Grasp of the Void" which gives you "Void Illusion" does not work with the Hollow Palm keystone.
This is unintuitive, because void illusion does use your weapon damage when you are holding a weapon. Currently, these two are incompatible for seemingly no reason (especially weird as they are added in the same patch...) More reasons why it is confusing: Void Illusion says "Martial Weapon, Unarmed" and "Attack Damage" in its tooltip. Hollow Palm says "Unarmed Attacks" in its tooltip Last edited by pabrt#4594 on Aug 30, 2025, 2:40:56 AM Last bumped on Sep 4, 2025, 6:01:06 PM

Looks like it uses base unarmed damage instead of the enhanced unarmed damage from Hollow Palm Technique. Attached images with/without a quarterstaff. Everything else seems to benefit just fine.

+1 for visibility, if that’s a thing. Here I thought Void Illusion was just bait with bad damage. Appreciate you taking the time to point it out what’s happening.

+1 for visibility as well. Just ran into this. Hope they fix it. The wording of Hollow Palm does imply that this should work. I'd guess that since this isn't technically a skill gem they just didn't add a Hollow Palm damage value to it so it just uses regular unarmed.
