Xbox is almost unplayable in endgame
Game barely runs on Xbox, my fps goes to 15 most of the time doing maps, not even talking about maps overruned by abyss, campaign performance was mostly ok, optimization on console is in terrible state and I wish consoles were treated better since the game came out in early access.

went into an abyss map and it was like doing deli on last gen all over again, slideshow fps. pathetic

Same issue on PS5 maybe worse - running Sorc with Abyss encounters results in glitchy sound and very poor graphical performance. There's just too much going on. This is still in Act 1 even. I dread to think what a dense endgame map will be like.

Abyss is abs unplayable.
All the screen turns constantly green, lagging, i m on waystone lvl 6 and i don t even know if i can progress. Guys this is a big issue it s the first time i feel i can t play the game it s like playing on a commodore |

Do not use fire skills. Seems to me all fire effects make the frame rate and resolution drop dramatically on console. On screen clears it made my Xbox X even crash multiple times in 0.2. I play chaos Lich now and its way better as long as there are no fire effects on screen.

In PoE1 last League, I ran a bouncing fireballs whatsits build that covered the whole screen and killed everything to death.. with no problems. But, that's because of well-tuned dynamic resolution.
BUT, with PoE2, 'dynamic resolution' is not kicking in at all for me when it really should. I haven't seen it at all, yet. Are you guys seeing dynamic resolution activating when it should? What resolution are you playing at? Have you reduced it to troubleshoot? ATM, my only issues come from forcing the game to update the map by moving during heavy combat. (forced temp auto "Paused.") |
