At least 7 / 10 times they will move an individual thread if you report it for that reason.
They're not going to have someone watching the forum 24 / 7 for this kinda thing with a growing backlog of support requests from a recent release, though. You'll need to flag them. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

I think it's also important to educate the posters by providing the link to the correct forum. Otherwise, the issue will never be corrected. ='[.]'=

Ive had posts moved to different forums without getting a moderator note about it, nor is the moderator note totally clear to the layman, since they generally speak in code and https rather than direct "I have moved your post from Feedback to General".
If it is confusing to me, having spent 12 years on these forums....I'm sure those moderator messages are confusing to new players who post in the wrong forum. There's also inconsistent labeling of forum topics overall: Why can't all PoE 2 forums be labeled (PoE 2) at the very beginning rather than: "early access" or saving the "poe 2" for the END of the forum title. Or the bunch of forums that aren't labeled with either. PoE 1 forums suffer the same problem: we have the (poe1) label at the END, or non-existent as is the case for this general discussion forum. At a glance, one can't tell that there is an over-arching PoE 1 umbrella like 4 levels of organization up from this forum. At this very moment, the bottom of my screen reads: Forum Index -> General Discussion. No mention of PoE 1 at all. Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Sep 1, 2025, 7:35:15 PM
