HC leveling gear upgrade timings

Hi, so i am a casual player who enjoys playing HC (what a mismatch).
After another death on act 2 i've realised that most of my deaths are caused by my unwillingness to upgrade gear even when i feel that "it is time" (i hate browsing trade section instead of shooting mobs with my shiny crossbow).
May i ask you to write a short guide on timings when changing gear provides the most benefit whereas the survivability and dmg are kept on the same level during progression. Or mb such guide is already in place.
It should look something like that:
lvl 1-6 progress with the lolgear from mobs- you should be fine
7-12 upgrade gear from renly
13-16 upgrade gear
17-22 upgrade gear (especially before bosses loltitanlol with the knife and the big mammoth with his bud mage)
23...

The best guidemaker will receive the paint picture where he/she sits in the garden sipping tea with a pug nearby.

Not by me, you can find the whole reddit post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExileSSF/comments/1hge7zv/poe2_hc_players_how_do_you_gear_through_the/

I tried to identify places in each act that I can safely use to farm up gear if I feel I'm falling behind:

- For me it was needed first at the Cemetery when fighting Lachlann, he can be a bit of a stopgap cause he has crazy burst when played badly.

- The next time was before Count Geonor at end of Act 1, and generally the Manor Ramparts and the Manor itself, as the mobs there seemed to be tuned more aggressively with phys degens and stuff.

- Next gear check happened in Mawdun Mine simply to make sure I had enough Fire res for Rudja. Again, one-shot potential

- Jamanra needs Lightning res, not really a gear check, just need to remember bringing topaz rings.

- For melee and phys builds, the Titan in the Titan Grotto was a bit of a stopgap. I ripped on him on my first Titan playthrough, which was partly a bad play by me, I hadn't checked accuracy.

- Next is really Jamanra at end of Act 2, again Lightning res and enough life, so you don't get one shot. Also need to make sure your clear is fine so Dreadnought can be handled.

In Act 3 it's really just trying to push all elemental resistances and phys mitigation and whatever recovery method you choose.

So for these spots I have the following routine to farm:
Act 1 Gearing

If I find a good rare item at the vendor and am close-ish to level up, I do a couple runs of the Beira in Clearfell to just get some gold without worrying about leveling up and buying the item, but that's rarely gonna happen.

Before Lachlann I farm Draven, because the Mausoleum of Praetor layout is so easy to read. You can rush him and clear him quite easily I feel. Also you get the portal straight outside of the mausoleum upon the kill, so you can re-enter more quickly. I can do like a run in 3 minutes tops.

Before Manor, if I need gear, I kill the Executioner in Ogham Village. Again, the layout is easy to read, the mobs on the way there are easy, and the Executioner himself is similar in fighting style to Draven, with nice telegraphs. Easy farming spot.
Act 2 Gearing

I find the Mawdun Quarry a fairly decent spot to farm. Not too dangerous mobs, good density, and area level 17 is much better than 13 in Ogham Village. So that's the next spot I clear multiple times if I need fire res for Rudja.

I skip Balbala if I feel like I don't have good dps yet, and instead farm Halani Gates if I need lightning res for Jamanra. But so far I've usually found enough Storm Runes or Topaz Rings not to have to do that.

Past Jamanra, The Lost City and Buried Shrines are the best zones to farm for me. Good density, slow mobs, only the lightning bats can be annoying. I gear here for Zalmarath in the Titan Grotto. He is what he is right now with the oneshot potential.

Once you have Deshar, that's my place to farm. I feel like reading that zone to farm the two rare vultures is quite easy. I can't describe it well, but 80% of the time I find I hug the correct side to find these two quickly, and port out to rinse repeat. This is to make sure I'm prepared for Dreadnought/final Jamanra.
Act 3 Gearing

In Act 3 I really only have one spot to farm, which is the Sandswept Marsh right outside town. If you exit town and stick to the jungle area, not going into the desert, you can reach the two rares that guard a rare chest. It's a super quick run and can be returned to at higher levels with some mf gear to farm currency very quickly. Having to waypoint to town and run across town is annoying, but imo the quickest way.

Once I'm in Cruel I include Beira as a farming spot, cause she's again very easy to find. The other spots remain the same, really.

In maps it's an entirely different story and depends more heavily on your build/character.

It's 9 old months so take that in mind. You can also search with google for more recent guide (I saw a bunch of Youtube video with a basic search about this topic for example).
