Amunamu's Gaze and Sprint Interaction

TL/DR Amunamu's Gaze prevents Sprint (it seem to treat is as modifier).
You've introduced a new great item into the game called Limited to: 1 Abyssal Eye -------- Requires: Level 60 -------- Boots: 1% increased Movement Speed per 15 Spirit, up to a maximum of 40% Other Modifiers to Movement Speed do not apply Body Armours: +2 to Armour per 1 Spirit Helmets: Remove a Damaging Ailment when you use a Command Skill -------- Which is absolutely awesome the problem is that for the sake of game engine sprint is treated as a Movement Speed modifier which greatly diminishes item value (let's be honest this item will be mainly used in Bones of Ullr and other boots which otherwise are absolute dogshit in terms of movement speed). Is it possible to make an exception for the rune (or simply code sprint) as an exception to that rule (as sprint is more of a character special action than a modifier and I am quite certain that it this restriction wasn't made with this in mind). Agreed. This feels miserable.. Sprint was added as a FANTASTIC QOL feature to navigate massive maps and this disables it?
Edit: While I would stay hate Sprint being disabled because again it's such a cozy QOL feature, it would at least make sense if Amanamu's Gaze with the "other modifiers to speed do not apply" made us immune to temporal chains/chilling ground, etc. Right now it just seems unfair. Can I socket 2 Amanamu's Gaze to get 2% movespeed to get to the 40% speed cap?
It would be closer to the sprint speed. |

All the gaze feel so bad right now. Wanted to use amanamu's gaze on armour but it's not affected by %increase from body armour, so it's n almost all cases less effective than any iron rune

Doesn't make sense. Devs explain game logic pros/cons why, why? Please debug this interaction. Sprint should be for everyone/boots unless the benefits (painful tiresome when moving through unwanted, sparse zones) outweigh "tremendously" |
