Chance orb + Omen of Ancients does not retain sockets

title. i chance'd an exceptional item with 3 sockets and the resultant item had no sockets. i wonder if it would've done the same thing with quality

Any word on if this is a bug? Seems like a bug based on other Omens behavior with chance orb and sockets.

Bumping this post, this seems like a bug either with the omen of ancients should be keeping sockets. Or the other way and the omen of chance should not be keeping sockets.
