Can't invite to party, social menu unresponsive (PS5)

Hi, so this has only been occuring as of 0.3. Previous leagues we played with the exact same consoles, modem and accounts. I say 'we' cause this issue is with mine and my wife's games as we live together with seperate TV's/PS5's on the same internet/provider. (Australian)
My PSN was previously using a share licence from my wife's account to play Path of Exile 2 but since the free weekend was over I wasn't able to use it, so I (begrudingly) bought a new copy on my PSN account and then deleted/reinstalled the game on my console.

So basically the social menu is completely unresponsive for us, it shows us current online characters but any 'invite to party' requests simply do nothing. No one recieves the invite no matter how many times my wife or I attempt to send them. We've both tried to use the gamebase menu on the Playstation and invite from there but the screen doesn't acknowledge we're playing a multiplayer game. On a rare occasion I've seen 'Path of Exile 2 Beta' as an option but selecting it brings up an error message saying "Something went wrong and your invitiation wasn't sent"

Not being able to play together has kinda killed our drive to play. We've been using a friend who can send invites to group us together but he's not online all the time and just we're ready to give it up until 0.4 and hope it get's fixed then.
I've seen old forum posts and reddit threads about this happening but none since the new league dropped. Is anyone else having this problem too?
Can anyone from GGG please confirm if this issue is known?
