Help and Information - Can't link email to Primary Login - 3rd attempt - Forum

I have gotten a verification code and emailed "support+verificationcdoe@grindinggear.com", I tried sending an email to the base support email "support@grindinggear.com". I have gotten no response from anyone so far regarding this issue. I'm just copying and pasting my email because I'm not typing it all again for the 3rd time:

I'm trying to marry my email address to my account under "Primary Login" so I can login with the stand alone launcher instead of running the game through Steam. However, apparently I already had an account back in 2012 when I tried out PoE 1 and hadn't used the account since then, it was using the same email I address I wanted to use for the new account so I deleted the old account. When I go to add the email to the new account and use the email confirmation link I am sent to a page about confirming a merge with the old account, but when I select confirm and accept I get sent to an error page with a code to send to support.
