Player entering my hideout in the middle of my map portals opening bricked my map

Was opening a triple tower juiced map when a player entered the hideout mid animation to purchase from my vendor. This must've broken the animation and no portals appeared, costing me a triple buffed map and a very valuable waystone.

The map was confirmed bricked because opening the portal with another (valuable -_-) waystone showed the empty map with no mechanics on it.
