I'm not able to complete the quest in arastas map where you need to talked to the missionary Lorandis. What happened is my character logged out while the story NPC is talking. The missionary lorandis should walk inside the building after talking to him.

Not sure if this is posted anywhere else, but I ran into the same issue when starting the walk into the church and then porting out of the zone. The fix is to still talk to the missionary, and click his greyed out dialogue prompt anyhow. The quest will move forward from there.

theres this other thing called "creating a new instance"

new instance did not fix the issue
