The coming calamity heroic armour bugged

I don't know the exact condition to cause the bug

If you're not familiar with the item, it grants you herald of ash, herald of ice, and herald of thunder skill. You can socket your support gem for those skills and it will kinda "embedded" to your armour (if you unequip the armour, the socketed gems also stick to your mouse. can't unequip if you don't have enough inventory space for both gems and armour)

You can only socket your support gem if you have enough stats requirement for each skill.

But here's the tricky part:
1. You can have enough stat by refunding your stat passive
2. Socket in your support gem
3. AFTER you put the support gem in, refund your stat passive back
4. Now you don't have enough stat but the socketed gem stay and it work

It work for me for the past few days. But yesterday the game bricked my item (or I bricked it). My character out of nowhere, making unequip item sound. I checked inventory and I see the armour was missing. But instead of dropping to inventory like you normally unequip it, it is just gone from the game.

I exit to menu then relog in. Surprisingly the armour come back in the equipped slot. I try to unequip it myself, redo steps above, enter map and then the bug keep happening. After a couple attempt. I unequip the armour and I don't get the socketed gem back(all 12 of them) They just gone from the game.

I believe it can also be bugged for other item. Be careful you can lose your expensive skill gem this way.

Same here, armor gone after dying in a map. Thought I deleted it by mistake, bought another and same thing happened again. After relogging, both armors were back in my inventory, but all my support gems were lost.
