controller stick jump back, anyone?
I've both XSX and PS5, Elite and Edge controller.
Both are JUMPing, means if you move the character in one direction, and release the stick to stop, or just a simple twitter, the character would facing the opposite direction, or say Jumping backwards. This is VERY anoying when you try to select or interact with things, only way to avoid this is using your right stick to control facing all the time, tidious. Anyone knows how to stop the stick junpimg back? maybe lower it's sensitive? Last bumped on Sep 25, 2025, 8:57:02 AM

Sorry to hear about this. It is called stick drift, and is extremely frustrating. Nothing you can do about it, unless you know how to open up and fix the controller itself. It's a hardware issue. Thankfully it happened soon enough for me that the warrant still was valid, so I got a new controller.
Apparently Sony used cheaper parts in the controller than for the ps4 ones, where this wasn't an issue from what I read. Never had a console before. Due to this, stick drift is a widely experienced problem. For once it isn't gggs fault :D |

Actually this is kind of on GGG.
I recently purchased a new controller because my character would move by itself sometimes or overshoot after releasing the stick due to wear and tear (stick drift). The deadzone settings in options do not appear to do anything at the moment so I was forced to buy a new controller. IGN: Cadmus / Valgar
