Essence monster stuck in place, unable to deal damage, modifiers still active

It appears we are at a stalemate.

He stands there, unable to move, attack, or take damage, modifiers are still active. He's dropping anchors on me, carries an essence of insanity, which may have traveled through the screen and affected me directly, and he wont even look me in the eyes :(
