random barrels in maps

Can someone explain to me these random barrels which are actually blocking projectiles and change the curse of your movement? I ran a sandspit last night where i was constantly blocked by those or targets dident get hit by projectiles.
seriously anoying while mapping

I am guessing this is POE2?
