PLEASE, show me MORE within the fog of atlas map!

One thing I dont like about atlas map is, that you can't see far ahead within the fog. You can see only a few buildings/mountains within the fog, but further then that you don't see anything until you get closer. I found myself in alot of situations where I only see some tower, but no nexus, no citadels, nothing... I dont like the idea of progressing into a direction with possibly no interesting locations. And I dont want to do 50 maps before finding one interesting location. And if I die in that interesting one (like citadel), the reward is gone for good and I will very likely not find another very soon, because I can't see far ahead.

For me personally that reduces motivation alot. While I loke rogue-likes and random elements, I also like clever mechanics that lets me bypass a certain amount of randomness. Like: Increase the distance of points of interest within the fog by like three times. With that range, we would certainly always see something interesting and know where to progress with our maps.

Thanks for reading.

There are a ton of issues with how endgame works/feels. It is why 0.4 will focus on it. My hope is they remove it entirely and replace it with a well thought out system. Don't forget that they rushed this endgame so they could release EA. None of their bandaids have really made it enjoyable and I think they recognize that.
Why was the corrupted zones that you could see in the fog removed? I thought that was a good addition. Then with one of the new patches it was just gone again.

I saw them. But I failed one since I died and now I got a quest left with clear nexus with tier15+ map but no nexus is seen at any location within the fog.

Right now, there is nothing to see within the fog that is interesting to me. And that absolutely isn't motivating in any way. The best case would be to change atlas map so, that players ALWAYS have MULTIPLE locations within the fog that are interesting. This way, players always have something in range...
And here I thought it was just me tripping out, and not GGG silently nerfing seeing in the fog.
Anyone else remember being able to see corruption deeper into the fog?

Apparently it's a bug. Some people in the bug section said that they have friends that see corruption and citadel lights just fine like they did in 0.2.

Not sure how widespread the issue is, but I have it aswell.

I'll believe it. I have had several instances of having to exit and re-enter the Atlas because it didn't show/load all the map details.
Seems like adding Async trade might have really increased server load because it feels like a lot of server/polling got nerfed/slowed down since 0.3.0. Hopefully they can make things feel snappy again, because it feels super crappy.

Well, I'm glad that it is just a bug and they will eventually work out the problem. I thought they decided to back track because people were clearing nexuses too fast. Yeah, I can't see nexuses and not any citadels till I'm like 2 nodes away from them. Hopefully, .4 will make great strides for endgame mapping.

Did they actually say they're going to redesign endgame in 0.4? If there's a video or something I'd like to see it, to get back some motivation for this game.
I would certainly love to see a redesign of endgame. Endgame needs to be more clearer when it comes to "what to do next". Very often I find myself looking at this huge randomized map, losing orientation and only doing some random maps that I juiced up with towers... But it's like there is nothing guiding me, except some quests that also require a certain amount of luck in order to complete them.
