I am once again asking you to remove player control of the caraven in act 2

There are only 2 choices you get to make and both are meaningless and superfluous.

Choice 1, will you go to the gates or the quarry first, it doesn't matter you have to do both and going to the gates is just a loading screen simulator.

Choice 2 do you go to the bone pits, keth, or the valley of the titans. Well you need items from the bone pits and keth for the passive buff in the valley so now the only real choice you have through out act 2 is going to one of those, and keth has 2 passive skill point the bone pits do not.

Act 4 I go to a boat and choose between multiple islands right from the start, where I do make meaningful decisions about the order of areas visited.(yes there is an obviously optimal route but even then I can decide to get the free expedition at league start, which imo is cool)

The Desert map on act 2 is meaningless friction that does not add anything to the experience.

PS. Remove the well and refund those mtx

It's very clunky, agreed. It doesn't even make it feel like you're on a caravan, so it adds nothing to the player experience.
Counter-point, Act 2 serves as a introduction of the caravan mechanic. It also allows you to choose when you do the first ascendancy. Do players need a introduction to this mechanic? probably not but maybe it helps reduce confusion for act 4.
