Proximity Tangibility among other things is just lazy design
I had to defeat an essence monster to complete the map
2x perfect essence (ice+fire) Proximity + Magma Barrier The sheer amount of cc this monster is throwing out is unbelievable, solar orbs that do 2000 damage to 82% fire resist and then on top of that its practically immmune to damage. Where is the gameplay design sense in this game ultimately? We focus on very high damage + defense...then have to dodge roll or move around in weird ways with your WASD like you're playing pacman otherwise your stats mean absolutely nothing. The charm defense works for masses of mobs but this game vs single target is a real laugh because its trying to both by POE1 and some Dark Souls experience but it can't be both. You either kill a boss or super modified rare mob with a bazillion damage and the most generic +4-7 to skills weapon or you get completely rekt because the game design has practically limited your gameplay to near net zero.
