The Misery of 0.3 Endgame

1) Delirium Fog. Why am I being actively punished with hours and hours of endless gray and white because I am doing what I have to do in order to get more juice to get more loot because it's hardly dropping anyways outside of triple / quad tower overlaps and of course when Remnants of Power (the REAL juice mechanism of the entire Atlas Tree) can actually be bothered to activate? If our character is going crazy they should have colorful hallucinations too, then we can unite as a community and complain it's impossible to see what's happening in our maps.

2) Sprint and Dodge Roll being on the same key; Sprint knockdowns. I already have to actively focus hard and lock in because if anything hits me through Evasion and Deflect, I die and lose my map juice and a little bit of the will to play. I can only imagine that the developers of this game have never actually conceived of the idea that there are people who play this game for hours and hours without being paid by viewers to do it. This game actively punishes even the slightest failure of attention span. Is PoE2 meant to be a job with a terrible micromanaging boss or a game? Serious question.

3) Abyss rares with life degen aura (Is this even a mod? I see it happen with generic mods) and Shroud Walker. Or the occasional abyss rares in packs of 3-5 that are basically guaranteed death if not instantly destroyed.

That's my "Feedback". There were some very nice changes to the game in 0.3. Hopefully they were more than a fluke.

I keep seeing comments like this and when I look at builds on ninja I see so many people running full Evasion/Deflect and I'm just curious if someone at some point suggested that this was the play in 0.3?

I have 1700 Life, 0 ES, and just a pinch of Deflection and just based on the vibe on these forums and reddit it seems like I'm having a much easier time staying alive than the people who've gone all-in trying to cap Deflection with zero Armor.

It's starting to feel like one of these situations where a streamer or two running 1k+ div kits said this was the meta and then a bunch of people running very different gear followed suit and found out it's not working for them.

You guys are all so streamer obsessed... what they're doing, what they're NOT doing, how they are doing it, etc etc.

Has it really gotten so bad that all of you really can't play or form an opinion without a streamer?

Can I perhaps suggest you slow down and read the thread again more carefully? I'm saying the same thing you are - I don't watch streamers at all and never have.

What I'm suggesting is that streamers are influencing others into a particular defensive strategy that doesn't seem to be working for folks without "streamer quality" gear and maybe if they would try another strategy they might get different results...

I didn't mean YOU when I said "you guys" my apologies. We're on the same page, the difference is i'm surprised so many people care what streamers think... feels like that homer meme where he's the only one left out, but it's me with streamers. Just don't get it myself :/

Haha, I just finished T3 Orloth and at this point I'm about to buy a lottery ticket. I had no business walking away from this fight alive... not one but two hits that took me to ~50 Life.

In my "defense" I took some time to rearrange gems beforehand and still somehow managed to leave my Crystallised Immunities on Ignite. If I had done it right and gone in Chill immune I might have dodged a couple of these...
