In a map, took 7 seconds to do a leap slam.

Chilled ground? Not sure it was covered in abyssal fissure, AOE auras from abyss mobs? who knows?

Temp Chains? Yes, but could I avoid it being cast on me... nope, was surrounded by stuff and couldn't move or dodge roll out of it.

Temporal Bubble? Yes, was about the only thing I could see as all the Abyss monsters spawned around me.

Abyss Auras? Not sure what all of them do but I'm pretty sure 1 elite had 2-3 auras and the 2nd elite had another 2-3.

After trying to dodge roll to safety 4 times with no ability to move. I attempted to leap slam out... Where it started a very very engaging combat animation where I did absolutely nothing for 7 seconds and then died as I hit the ground without doing any damage.

Total attack time doesn't make the game more engaging... it makes it LESS engaging. It makes you sit there and check your watch while your character completes an attack. That isn't engagement.. that is making me fall asleep.

Its cool, i WANTED to play leap slam so much... but considering theres no way around a slow warrior... as said in the voice line itself...

I'm "forced" to go spear in order to actually have engaging combat.

Now instead of 7 second leap slams, I can be in exactly the same mechanics, attack with 3 whirling slash and actually deal damage.
