Dying: campaign vs endgame and trials
I am a casual POE2 player. I seek relaxed gameplay from POE2. I do not have a focused mindset when I play POE2 and I do not want to.
I play competitive CS for stressful competitive gameplay and ARPG for fun and casual gameplay. I tend to die a lot. In campaign this did not really matter. Just try again, you just lost a little bit of time. No worries, no bad feelings. Endgame and trials are stressful and not enjoyable. In my opinion it is because you can fail the content. This feels bad and makes me want to stop playing. The game already has hardcore, so why do this? Having x amount of tries or x amount of damage you can take sucks. I hope you take the same approach to dying in endgame and trials that you do in campaign. Now it fells like we have three different games here. 1 softcore: campaign 2 semi-hardcore: trials and endgame 3 hardcore I want to only play softcore. POE2 is a nice game and keeps getting better, keep it up! Thanks. Last bumped on Sep 26, 2025, 8:56:05 AM

" You're playing the wrong game then, Diablo 4 might be more suited for you. Tech guy
