Havent played in over a week and now game runs even worse

I havent played probably in a week or 2 and i come back and the game is almost unplayable now in the campaign. I was getting tired of blasting the end game so i took a break. I come back and now after like 30-50 mins of playing the game starts to really bog down and loading takes forever if it doesnt crash. Idk why poe 2 when running after a bit is taking up 16g of memory this is just absurd not to mention how much CPU it takes it was never this bad last league.
