Meta energy increases feels like it needs some love
I was over the last 4 days doing some playtesting on meta energy generation stacking characters, like a titan to maximize the stat.
To my huge surprise - the stat just feels almost entirely worthless in itself. The the whole "cast on X" triggers, feels like they are ENTIRELY balanced around the hit itself dealing huge damage, and it in itself not being able to sustain an interesting playstyle by itself, if you were to fully dedicate yourself to it. A practical example: I was, to maximize the potential, utilizing Seeing stars (doubles generation of energy) with an exceptional version, having 3 sockets, which I added 3x 10% meta energy generation. I fully specced into ALL nodes on the tree allowing for meta gem energy generation and still, it was FAR more worthwhile for me, to drop this weapon, that in theory SHOULD be among the best possible options for this type of build, in favor of simply using a wand/other weapon that were to trigger the cast on X factors by delivering a high base hit. This to me, feels like a fundamental mistake. I cannot understand why you'd want the weapon, that is literally designed to do this job, under the best possible conditions, on a titan fully maximizing this increase, be worse than simply having it attached to a character that does high base hits. That simply just invalidates the whole point of even playing with those items/stats, even DOUBLING it, isn't even close to being as good as using another weapon instead. I would highly suggest that you revist this approach, because it feels like it is suffering from the same homogenized issue as damaging ailments, where the only thing that matters, is just delivering high base hits, which significantly lowers the variety of builds you could make in the game.
