New player - disappointed in performance

I know all the og players are going to come in here to leave toxic comments on this post, which is part of the issue with this game. I started playing poe2 last season, played poe1 in the past, but not much. I just spent the last hour juicing up one of those deadly boss maps, only for the map to stick me in an endless loading loop. This leaves an EXTREMELY bad taste in my mouth about this game, considering I cannot play my character until the map closes
