Make Towers Great Again
The new changes to towers have me worried. Not because of the way they changed Precursor Tablets, but because of the fact that they've removed any incentive for players to camp a zone. Now, unless you push out into the fog, you won't be mapping optimally. Personally, I like sticking to explored areas because the atlas becomes more and more unwieldy as you make it bigger. Also, I'm a completionist and it feels bad for me to leave stuff unfinished.
I hope in 0.4, GGG adds incentives for focusing on one area of the Atlas. One way they could this would be to say: if you complete every map in a tower's zone of influence, a special map boss will appear in the tower, and you get to re-farm the tower zone and get a cool reward. This would give players another way to specialize, so that not everybody has to chase citadels. Last bumped on Sep 26, 2025, 10:27:56 PM
