Feel of Gameplay Feedback
Just to preface I think this game is just so damn cool and I hope good things in the future.
I am realizing something about the gameplay especially in maps and as the difficulty scales that sort of makes the game feel not as it should or could in my opinion. To keep it simple I think it's that it's a constant state of reactionary gameplay. Battling continuous hordes of monsters is fun but do to the danger of some of the monsters and consequences for dying etc.. to me it seems the only way to play the game without getting owned is not letting your guard down for even a second. That's kind of exhausting you know? I think this friction is very important to have for an exciting game but it needs to have some window of opportunity for the human psyche to catch up or employ some successful strategy that isn't always dependent on needing to dodge an attack at any second(or less) or else your character dies. I have a level 93 deadeye atm lmao. Not top 100% gear but still pretty good with 80+ chance for evasion and deflection. Even still you can easily get one shot to certain things in the game. Of course there should be challenge in the climb that's not what I mean. I'm just saying I think they could achieve a better flow state. Or maybe I'm just bad at video games. Lol
