can we talk about headhunter?

hello dear devs.

just a short question do you remember that code you wrote so headhunter can not get the Lichs revival ability?

can we just add BLINK to that rule? it would be a short easy fix that i hope many would appreciate ;D
sure if you do breach the blink is kinda cool....can be...kinda cool
unless you want to open that hand and it keeps blinking you away before u reach it. 10 times in a row

i get why it is in poe 1
but there i do not loose my map rewards if it decides to blink me on the boss 20 times in a minute.
the cd is way way way to short. u roll away from omniphobia in simulacrum and while the blink animation is not finished u get blinked back on him.
like 10 times in a row
also with all the deadly effects on the ground its kinda bad if you can't position yourself. yeah if you have enough dmg it matters less...

u want to go left? to bad i blink you right over the cliff 5 times

towers? i did not mind so much at least they could not be botted.
this? most annoying part in the game since poe 1

or can we at least reduce the cd so it does not happen all 3 seconds but maybe 10? if it needs a downside let it be anything else -.-

anyway have a nice time ;)

For your suggestions on Headhunter; while it is annoying to mistwalker around without asking for it, and sometimes kills you, it is way too insane of an item without this downside.

For the Currency Exchange; when selling items you will get the price of the highest available buy orders that are listed by default. If the sale price is lower than expected, it is a case of there being not enough buy orders for bulk on that currency.

I agree it should instead just list the market ratio of what they are currently selling for, but there is also an argument that some players do not care about getting full value. They just want to instantly sell to the highest offer at the time.

To get around this, you list a sale order instead by checking and raising the price manually. Switch the order around to buying, check the price, then sell close to the buying price. You will wait a minute instead of instant sale, but will get full value. To do this quicker than reselecting everything, have the item you are selling in your inventory so you can drag it into the window.

It could use some improvements. A button that just switches the places of what is already in the window would fix my problems with it immediately.

Wait why did this turn into talking about the currency exchange?

In the original post, he went on to ask why do some things list for less when selling compared to buying. He edited it out of the post.

OOOOOH okay, I was so lost for a second, LOL

Are you really certain it would be too insane without Shroud Walker modifier being possible, though? I personally avoid the hell out of the belt and consider it noob bait because of that mod

The exact name always confuses me in PoE2. I dunno why they didn't just call it Ambush like in PoE1.

But yeah, I would say it's way too insane without it. It's basically the only downside, getting that amount of attributes on a belt is not sacrificing much of any stats.

Dunno why you consider it a noob bait, they buffed it in 0.3 so it's 60 seconds now. Before that, probably was a bit of a bait. Now you are just rocking around with 20 rare mods for entire maps, it doesn't really matter if you teleport into a bad situation if everything just explodes when you look at it

Mostly cause of teleporting into a bad situation, yeah. I couldn't imagine anything worse than warping onto a pile of Desecrated Ground or some such thing and I'd sooner drag my bare ass across a field of cacti than encounter that LOL

Kind of the way I always saw it was that you get enough power even without it, so having it is just "One shotting mobs harder". To me at least, the only modifier that seems to be of any real value would be the Haste, but even then...

Like, if you've got the 60 div to shell out for a Headhunter, your build's probably already at or nearing its apex in power anyway, so I can't REALLY see a situation where that particular downside's so necessary

It's not quite like a Mageblood for example which just straight up fills every single hole a build may have in a single item

The other way you could see it, is no matter how insane the modifiers on the content, you can probably do it with ease with 20 rare modifiers on your character and just a decent clear build

It will take more than just 50 div to make a character that even comes close to a HH build stacked up, or even to build 1/3rd of a character that comes close is pretty hard (unless you are playing some broken Jungroan build or something)

So getting it all on one slot for pretty much any build for that cheap is pretty damn good, especially considering other belts aren't that great

I suppose I could yield to the fact that I might be quite the outlier after being able to do all that for the price of just one good 3 charge -7 max rage Hateforge.

Admittedly, I'm likely to have propagandised myself a bit through witnessing people dying from it and the raging in Global about it so I've not even actually went out to try it ever

Maybe I'll make that a little side goal this league after I hit 100, 100 exalt gear budget with a Headhunter and see if that actually does trivialise stuff

It absolutely slaps, just a case of the people having fun with it are too busy playing the game to complain about how much fun they are having
