93 div in almost 1,000,000 monsters killed - Mapping is unrewarding

This is my currency ring since I've started this league, I've played regularly since league start and have killed 850,000 monsters according to /killed


I would say i've made about 150 div from selling stuff in maps, considering I have 50 div in bank now, and spend about 50 working on my summoner... I've probably made about 200 div total since league start in between making maps, gearing my summoner, and what I currently have + what's dropped raw from my mapping.... in 880,000+ kills, that doesn't seem very reasonable to me... I go hours and 10s of maps with menial drops.

After juicing up maps with towers for multiple hours, and then finding these maps to drop crap loot anyways despite that, it's quite disappointing... I have averaged 100 rarity on my gear since league start as well,

And always juice maps with 100-150 rarity on waystone
30-60 quantity on towers
100 rarity on gear
45-75% increased rares
36-80% deli

I go through the entire juicing process and am sure I'm not leaving anything out.




Comparing this to the profit made in crafting is where things get ridiculous, which in it's self isn't accessible to 90% of the player base because of how difficult it is to learn the process, which outright isn't possible to learn in game without going to 3rd party sources outside of game..



It just seems much less rewarding than I'm used to in POE1 even, I had much easier time making divs and farming in maps only in poe1...

Agree.

Unique drop rates are at an all time low as well.

Game has never been so unrewarding, especially since the purported Unique chase drop rate buff...

Never been so frustrated.

Judging by your ring and just the math in your basic statements you actually have no idea what you have made or you are trying to make it sound like it's less than it is.

You have 93 raw div collected. You probably saw a fair few things like Perfect Exalt, Ancient abyss currency etc.

Just the ring alone suggests you have looted probably over 200 divine in raw currency.

Let's talk about what you're upset about, not seeing t0s. How many have you seen? I saw 1 HH 2 Rathpith 1 Dialla's and 1 Rakiata's, in not really that much gameplay.

The other thing is, you are upset because you have to work to find towers, but that won't be a problem in 0.3.1.



Yep, they want you play continuously and not watch other game. That`s the GGG business target to create Souls ARPG.
Sounds about right, divine orbs are rare, it's like this since 0.1. To see more divine orbs you need TONS of rarity, I would say over 500.

If you want to stack divine orbs, you have to trade, farming them is not efficient.

if you want raw divines then play poe1. i usually get at least 1 raw divine per map there when doing abyss hoard strat. alva strat gives even more.the amount of juice you can apply to your maps there is insane


this game always had low divine drops but lets face it you dont really need divines like you would in poe1. there are no chase items like mageblood and whatever else people want these days. there is nothing to spend your currency on here. 90% of the divines i made are still in my stash because i have no use for them. all the "upgrades" i can make are so small that its not even worth doing it.

also is dropping 93 raw divs meant to be so low that you need to complain? i dropped maybe 10 and i'm not complaining.

I got 27 raw divine drops from 380k kills. All in all probably 100 div in currency drops. Honestly can't complain. It's a lot more than what dropped in 0.2. And with the new trade system most my income comes from flipping, crafting and selling loot anyways.
200k kills on ssf with 70rarity and running 80lvl maps (few 79,few 81). Zero perfect exalts (zero crafting), ~15 divines (throw few in items), 1x 20gem, 2x perfect jewelers, 2 helmets with +2 minions only, only 1 scepter with +4, zero ralakesh runes yet having few belts ready for them.
It's just so unproportionally low drops, making luck decide whould you be able to craft (or drop) an upgrade or not, whould you be able to do X fight in first 50h or in 200h or never.

Gonna watch race, sad they make it class-closed competition, i would like to see how many minion builds will dominate the race and outpace other builds in any aspect
