Suggestion: Just give us flasks ffs... Charms are garbage.
Charms are stupid. They are just bad flasks that went from lasting 0.0 seconds to like 1.2 seconds.. Barely usable and frankly just another horrible idea based around making the player weaker -- this isn't a roguelike... Why the fuck would that have even happened? It makes zero sense.
Just implement flasks, just don't make Mageblood. They think mageblood is too powerful, but they're slowly turning charms into flasks anyways, except these charms just suck by comparison. Charms are not fun, they are not that helpful, they are not that interesting... It's just another "fuck the player" type of changea.. This change brings nothing but negatives -- not a single positive thing vs flasks, they are just worse in every single metric by design. This type of thinking is as bad as it gets. We didn't give you money for you to design worse gear just to screw the player over. A huge problem with POE 2 is very simple to many of us -- Changes cannot be worse than POE 1. Changes must be BETTER for the player, or exactly the same, not worse. THis isn't a roguelike, The premise of POE 2 shouldn't be "annoy the player to death". They fixed flasks in POE1 then decided to make a way worse version in POE2.
Another example of them changing something just to change it, but ultimately coming to a worse outcome. Way too common when comparing POE1 and POE2. It's like they ignored a decade + of player feedback. |
