0.3 Maps Vs. 0.3.1 Maps (Big 0.3.1 Problems)

I did 20 maps with old towers and bad precursors Vs. 20 maps with the best new precursors.

Big 0.3.1 Problems TL;DW

Precursors affixes were said to be "2-3x the value" quantity is 3%. Less than 1.5x the value. On a fresh layout with the best precursors, you cannot reach a third of the effect of a previous 0.3 tower setup.

Old layouts are still affected by tower precursors, and new precursors can be used on top of them. Nerfs were aimed at MFers, but precursor implementations have put MFers with many setups in 0.3 even further ahead.

Changes to pack size were meant to be restricted to lower tiers, but there are changes in open layouts t15+ leading to way less monsters. An obvious 2nd big nerf for all.

Poor implementation of Precursor "Remaining Uses" in trade causes price fixing and listing scam issues.

i think they left those on purpose to delay the outrage over the loot nerf. once those run dry you will see more and more complains but they will be spread out

I have hundreds of 30% maps I chose not to run because in 0.3 they were not that good. Now in 0.3.1 these maps are just way better than anything people without them can run. I get 90% quant on these maps, easily with no luck or really any expense, in the new system you will get 36% max by spending 15 div on precursors if you do not have access to maps like these.

If I have that, as a guy who MFs and invests for fun, imagine what the people that were actually the problem have.

the clever ones spent the last week setting up 100s of nodes so i doubt this will take mere 48h

What don't you get? The people these nerfs are aimed at, the top who would abuse the quant and ruin the economy, are the only people who will have hundreds of these layouts. They are 3x better than anything people who don't have these setups can run without even investing in them.

So it'll take a week. And only for a select number of players, that were already printing money anyway, and will continue to print money with the new system.

I still fail to see the problem here, especially taking into account this is still an early access league and the period where all these changes need to take place.

I am just a guy that does this for fun and I have hundreds mate. I haven't really been playing that much for about 2 weeks. Making quant 1.5x instead of 2x or 3x was specifically to stop people from going berserk and ruining the economy, but they are literally handing the keys to the economy to the group MFers they targeted the nerfs at
