before everyone could juice maps and it workded now....
now we are back to poe 1 where bots and rich players drive the only tablets and maps who actually give you loot to insane prices so there is barely any return.
this was a bad system in poe 1 with 10000 scarabs but only 2 of them really give you loot. its the same crap now. 500 useless modifiers but only 2 give you loot. a tablet that gives 2 random mods on top? 3 divines. do you drop any loot without that? no of course not. maps who gives rares a bonus mod? 2 divine plus abyssal maps 2 divine. so a juiced map that drops things is 5+ divine buy in....like the dumb scarabs you had to buy for similar or even worse prices. one of the main reasons poe1 community was so small not joking. if the game is only rewarding if you spend tons of currency to make a little more currency its a bad gameplay loot. before we could just play and got things. but i guess tft was the loudest faction in forums against towers. and ppl who did not understand ;D towers you could NOT automize with bots to run on high efficiency. why you think logbooks were so expensive? cause bots farmed deli and log books. new system? totally easy to automate. buy 3 tablets buy map buy deli get loot. you can just run a bot and run those things and have enough currency to make them so expensive that other players will get a really minimal return. instead of making the old system better...radius of tower bigger more towers more overslaps buff tablets noo. you just reverted it to buy stuff for 5 div get loot dont buy those things?....dont get loot. i ran like 30 maps with 40 quant 200 rare monsters and 200-300 rarity with double juice. return? like 2 div. back to rmt meta? ok back to small players numbers for GGG ;D bye bye. I've run a lot of maps since 3.1, all of them with 3 tabs at 25%+ rarity, 8%+ quant and 35%+ rare monsters (I could easily exchange this for another rarity or quant). I'm totally self sustained like that, and the tablets waiting in stash are increasing in number, not decreasing.
So the question is, are you using "Precursor Influence" atlas passive? Are you 3-for-1'ing all the bad tablets you find? It seems to me that with those two things, you'll only need to buy the first 3 tablets, and be self sustained after that. Last edited by KubaLy#4534 on Oct 3, 2025, 8:00:49 AM

"everyone could juice maps"
Not everyone. Only people with hours to waste on worthless maps pathing to find overlaps then path to the towers etc. I never did that and I never will do that. That's extremely boring and I'd rather do anything else. This patch was a massive buff for my gameplay. And it nerfed the no-life annoying (or bot/rmt) gameplay nobody actually ever defended before the patch. PS: allowing tablets to be put in maps that already got effects from pre patch tablets on towers is lame, but whatever. |

" Might want to leave your echo chamber once in a while. There were plenty of us that said we were happy with the basic way towers and tablets worked prior to the patch. The vast majority were just having fun playing the game, instead of whining about whatever the big streamers are complaining about. You never had to "spend hours" to look for tower overlaps. If you really wanted to find 3+ tower overlaps it wasn't hard to do and you can locate them fairly quickly. But, and here's the important part, you DID NOT HAVE TO PLAY THAT WAY. You could make plenty of currency doing things that was not fubgun's strat, including selling the components to his lemmings. |

" Exactly fucking this bro. I have 40% quantity and 250 rarity and find vastly less stuff than i used to since 0.3.1. But in the first few hours of 0.3.1 I was getting good stuff a lot of it, then something happened, they bricked the drops. I have maps overjuiced and since 2 days, they clearly did a ninja move. It's an absolute drought. Same thing happened to my friend and we don't play together. It happened at exactly the same time. Something is wrong and I don't feel like playing that shit anymore. |

They should have gone for a compromised solution to the towers.
Instead of searching for a decent setup they could let the players erect the towers where they want them (with limitations on numbers and overlaps etc) and kept the system as was. After all the hardship in juicing maps should be about whether your build can handle it not finding the spot in the first place. The current system works but by gods is it dull, setting up maps is already tedious with all the currency, anoints and even going to the well of souls... and now we have to slot in 3 tablets each and every map. it was fine to start with but after 100+ maps its very very dull. |

" i had 3 full stash tabs of tabs i 3v1 you know how many times i had +2 random modifiers? zero! its at 9 divine now for 12 runs. trade bots gatekeep it so we make barely any profit like with scarabs and im sitting at 30d now after crafting my t1t1t1 evasion breastplate its not that i could not afford it a system where the strongest juice is so rare you have to buy parts is just inherently bad. since it allows bots to control the market-.- and that sucks. selling the 99 useless scarabs to buy the 2 working ones is the worst part about poe 1 tbh. I feel like I'm getting less loot with 160% item rarity on my gear than I did with 40% rarity & no tower overlaps before the patch. I don't think I've profited from a single map since and juicing just feels like flushing currency down the toilet.

Ya'll really should stop playing this game like a business simulator. This constant whining about not being able to make x amount of currency from "juiced maps" is fucking annoying.
I just run whatever comes out from alch+vaal and just put the best tablets I found in the map device and I make plenty of currency depite having less than 50% MF on my gear. I'm just glad that I can now choose to run whatever extra content I want on a map-by-map basis and don't have to bother with those stupid towers to RNG it on the maps in the direction I want to go next... |
