Towers should show the random map modifier
So now towers don't do shit. A better way would be when you clear a tower to see the random modifiers a map will have in the area.
Instead of these modifiers to be randomly applied when you traverse the waystone, you could see them on the atlas directly (as before). So you could plan your trip and also will give a better use for the towers. Last bumped on Oct 4, 2025, 7:12:22 PM

Yeah i hope we get more use for towers later. Pretty sure they are working on it for 0.4.
Also note that you can still use the tablet that give acces to every maps around if you run a tower with it. I tought that one would have no use anymore but it still work. I've seen some other ideas for like "terraforming" and influence biome around. Would be cool too. SSF player

" Yeah, I agree with this. I think the strength of PoE endgame is that you have agency over what content you engage with, and you can strategize around it. Thinking that stuff through is fun. I like 3.1, but I'm not a big fan of getting 1-3 random content that I have no control over. If I have no control over it, then why bother thinking about it? Also an aside, do the "40% increased chance" passives still work? I imagine they do, since precursors also generate them. But I got a weird feeling that they don't. Lastly, welcome back! :) |
