Megalomaniac Diamond not working as intended

I have the Megalomanic Diamond which allocates "blade catcher and "channelled heritage".

I have 26 available passive skill points but i am unable to allocate any of the points as both skill nodes shows "requirement not met"

I tried the following methods found online

-making sure my weapon set 1 and 2 skill points match which is only 24 points. I have 26 available

-teleporting to other towns as some claims it will update the game's tooltip

-logging off and restarting POE.

None of these methods work. Can GGG support or anyone advice?
