0.31 thoughts

First of all, after 0.31 game feels more playable for regular person vs. a professional farmer. I have went back and spent time playing last couple of days.

Areas where I think game can improve further:

- There are too many visual effects on screen. It lowers FPS, I cannot clearly differentiate what is on screen (mobs, where are objects, etc). This very true in fights where lots of effects come in once. I found that many times it causes me get stuck in some corner because it is hard to clearly navigate... and die.

- If you fail map (e.g. killed on 6-mod map) you cannot reuse your tablets. Why? This has no point... especially since Atlas is infinite - waste of time make less fun

- Personally, I do not like the limit of portals. As a casual player I am not as tanky as Zizarans of this world... but I do want to be able to take some risk, juice-up the map, take content that I can barely run.... but I dont want to be penalized for that. This 1-portal thing makes you play safe... play boring...

- Portal positioning. They are so close to map device that I often click on portal instead on map... going into map, back... loss of time

- It would be good to see atlas point to become more meaningful to enhance mechanics of the content. In POE1, atlas tree adds more to each content (more difficulty, more rewards, changes mechanism how content works). I think this is area where POE2 can also find some ideas.


Finally, I think this 0.31 is path in good direction. Thank you GGG team.
