Map Bosses on every Atlas Node.... Yikes

Biggest mistake you have ever made in PoE2. I was hard addicted to this season and game, and in one swing of the hammer, I am now playing 100 hours less than I was pre-patch. I dont like bossing, if I did, I would have done it before. I like clearing maps with my AoE build. Just make map bosses a tablet event, you can remove the rare requirement of completion and not have bosses on each map, both are possible. Bad change.

99% of complainers prior to this patch were crying that they wanted bosses back in every map because it felt “bad” to have to clear rares. Then, they introduced the band-aid of adding rare mini-map icons.

Now, all the zoomers with zdps builds can’t clear maps anymore and are kicking and screaming about this being the “worst” change/patch/update in Path of Exile history.

Simply remove difficulty from your bossing atlas tree and you’ll be fine. Otherwise, add some dps to your build. Will feel good again, trust me.

You must not be melee, because bosses are a good way to get randomly 1 shot. Had a Zekoa earlier that the first thing he did the moment he activated was initiate a slam and 1shot me less than a second later. No telegraph and the slam hitbox is basically 3m wide.

Gonna be real interesting seeing future leagues given basically every new class from here on out are melee-oriented...

GGG stated clearly, they want us to fight bosses and they want bosses to feel significant.

You can play poe1 if you like easy mode.
Bosses in PoE ware an option, in PoE2 they are a necessity to reach the next point on your map. A gatekeeper ist very different to an optional boss and can be way more frustrating. But I suspect, gatekeeping to not be the real issue.

Bosses in PoE2 were exeedingly rare and precursor tablets spawning bosses had noticable small values, as if we were not meant to farm them as intensively as we farm Breach and Delirium fpr example.

Now bosses did a total 180 and we have to fight them all the time.

Suddenly we are noticing that under certain conditions (i.e. t15 map will full upgrades), the damage values of some attacks are a bit concerning when it comes to fair play. I presume we all give bosses extra levels on the passive tree and it does to bosses what skill level stacking does to our damage skills, i.e. it scales too fast.

Call me crazy, but I say the devs fully knew the bosses were not ready to be tested at the start of a season, hence they were rare. Now GGG needs data, so we are thrown under the bus to collect data.

As weird as it sounds, the fix is simple. GGG just needs to admitt that the bosses are out of whack and will continue to be out of whack for a while. The only annoying thing is the XP loss, which could be disabled. The community will hapily bang their head against the wall after that. It is 0.3.1, so what, stuff is broken, lets just bang out death for data analysis and be done with it by 0.6.
