Mana and spell damage

Mana is a measure of how great a sorcerer is (I heard that somewhere, and it really makes sense). When picking up a lazuli ring while leveling, only my mana pool increases — it’s a bit disappointing and feels inappropriate. If the game could scale the mana pool along with spell damage (as innate), it would feel really nice. A sorcerer with 10000 mana basically no different to someone with 1000 mana is not something right in fantasy world.

That would be double scaling on Int then.
Int gives mana, you can buff Mana stacking to give you various benefits, but if you want damage to grow with mana growth as a baseline, you're making Int stacking too strong.

Just pick up a weapon with 5% spell damage per 100 mana.
Mana remnants+breach ring with 90+ manaregen/mana on kill.

That's how I do it in lvl96.
