Screen turns black (pc becomes irrespinsive) after loading screen

When I enter login screen it takes a second, the game freezes up for an instant, then the screen goes black. Music continues to play but the computer becomes irresponsive. Am on a Vega64 and I just updated to the latest drivers on a Windows 10 computer.

More correctly, the system acrually turns the monitor off.
