Failed to connect to instance is back with a vengeance

I reported this issue in a post in early September and it seemed to be resolved after one of the hotfixes at the time but it's now back with a vengeance since 0.3.1b - I can't enter maps and sometimes not log in at all, just get a long loading screen and then get kicked out to login screen with the message in the title. When I am able to log in to the game and attempt to enter a map portal, I can hear the hideout music for what seems like way too long until I hear the portal noise again and am then kicked out to the login screen.

I've been able to run three whole maps since Saturday despite trying for many hours. This get even more frustrating when tablet prices has had huge inflation since the recent patch so I lose 1/10th of a divine times 3 each time I try to go to a new map location and then can't enter the portal. Doubly frustrating when it happens on good unique maps, like the jade isles I foolishly(?!?) attempted after successfully completing another map yesterday but got this issue again so the map was lost.

I play on Xbox series X from Ireland. I have repeatedly tried different servers (London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and even Washington DC) with no luck, just getting the same error over and over again. I have also tried logging in to POE1 and can successfully map in that game with no issue while getting this reported issue over and over again in POE2 both before and after playing one POE1 map. My internet speed holds steady at 140+ mps so I don't think that is an issue either.

Please figure this out! I really enjoy POE2 and would love to spend more (or at this stage, ANY) time playing the game.

same thing happens to me. first time back after awhile wanting to try the new update and stuff and I cant make a character or load any old ones without getting the failed to connect to instance error re installed 3 times now. going to try to load poe1 and see if it loads but please fix ASAP really wanna play my lightning arrow again :(
