Clarification from ggg about oshabi rage node

Can i get clarification if the oshabi rage nodes would consume rage to give adrenaline if you already have adrenaline? (it mentions you can't gain adrenaline while having it) Because otherwise it seems quite hard to make good (you get high rage and get big damage and then poof its gone for a 100% increase (instead of 50% more)

I sure hope not but hopefully they clarify it!
