Can the damage be increased with increased Minion attack or cast speed?

If i increase minion attack speed in PoB, Player's DPS increases, not the Relic.

The wiki says it scales with area of effect.
Does that automatically apply to area damage as well?
Because Amplify (20% inc area damage) does nothing.

None of that is going to sale this skill.

The relics do have an internal cooldown for their nova spell, increasing the gems quality reduces the CD and thus its going to deal more dmg.
I cant recall the exact thresholds but you can look it up yourself on YT.

You def want to link it to Enhance and the Diallas chestpiece to reach 80%+ quali I think, thats pretty much the most reasonable threshold to go for. The next one was like 110% quali or something like that and thats just too much.
Doable but its going to hurt in other areas.


I have at least 2 lvl100 builds of this archetype in my profile, its open so you could take a look if you wanted to.
However, PoB always fails to calculate this skill properly and as a rule of thumb you should 3x or 4x the dmg numbers PoB is showing.

I did kill ubers with it quite comfortably but its not a great build to do it.
Neither is T17 farming, altho it can totally do it, but the relics will die every now and then depending on mapmods and budget which is annoying.

Other than that, its a great build.
Very tanky, very smooth, good dmg and doesnt play like a minion build at all.
Its more like a splitting steel champion, if you´ve ever played that build.

yeah i was critical from the start but its fun.
Also i felt instantly that this is nothing for 8 mod maps.

Too many mods that hurt.

But yeah, smooth is the right word.
And yes i hav 82% cooldown reduction just was wonndering if there where any further ways apart from minion damage to buff it.

Im procing Relic with Lancing Steel of Spraying and this weapon.

Not sure why you´d want to use that wand to begin with.

I dont think the CDR on that wand is going to beat the raw speed of the sword.
Cuz if your hits with atks do not align with the CDR, you will lose dmg.
Thats why Lancing Steel is so powerful. It always pierces and returns, hitting a bazillion times which means you will most likely hit something the exact moment the relics CD cools off.
And thats what you want badly.


If your relics are dying too often, switch the minion leech mastery to recover life on death and try to work a lvl1 SRS into the shield. Maybe link that one to Spell Echo or Unleash.
The SRS and Phantoms should be dying all the time and thus heal everyone else, thats pretty much the only reason why they exist.


Make sure the minions chance to poison is 100% and also get Amanamus Gaze.
If you dont have that, the build wont feel anywhere near as good as it should.

I just thought the 93% minion damage would make up for it.

Relic never dies. Neither the Spectres or AG.

Yeah that wand has +2lvl and multimodding.
Thats a totally different beast.


Personally I wouldnt do it cuz Im using Whirling Blade as my moveskill and I simply love it too much to even consider using anything other than a sword and the dmg is fine as is.
So I never tried to push for more dmg even tho I could have.

Besides being fast AF Whirl Blades counts as atk and will trigger the relics as well. So Im just whirling thru the maps while laughing maniacally ^^
But that just me.

Atm my AG has Asenath's Gentle Touch (+Windscream) with Enfeeble.
But he practially never curses anyone since he is passive due to Meat Shield.

Btw, does reduced Gobal damage affects the Relic?
And does Generosity really work?
PoE Wiki states, cant modify skills of Minions.
