suggestion: Give orbs or regret in POE1 to POE 2 players

I would love to play PoE 1. But I do not like, and I think more people, that it is "mandatory" to start with a guide. I would like to create my own build and make it work as I do in POE 2.

My suggestion is that orbs of regret can be redeemed by PoE 2 players e.g. for those that have done purchases in PoE 2 or that have certain amount of hours played. This would only be valid for one character a season.

There could be other and better ways. But having to restart the character multiples times before to find a build that works or follow a guide is what holds me back.

I hope this thread brings some nice discussions.

Just add quest that gives every character one full tree reset in a form of single-use non-tradeable item.

It is not manditory to play PoE1 with a guide. It never has been, doubly so if you're actively invested (and have the time) to look into what things actually do. However, PoE1 already has respec for gold, regret orbs are about useless, as it's pretty easy to swap your build in it these days.
