Unexpected disconnect sent me to the beginning, locking me out and losing my Level 80 Inscribed Ultimatum. Ugh!

Wow! Just completed my first 10 trials, game showed trial completed after killing final boss, loot dropped and then I die. Can't get back to collect loot, no ascendancy points, nothing. Pretty lousy game mechanic.
Reading the GGG support notes, looks like their approach is too bad, so sad, we don't help you in these situations, you're screwed.
Gotta love that.
