Avatar of Fire and Bleed Issue for Bloodmage

Been working on a new build concept that utilizes the Bloodmage Blood Barbs passive with the Notable Avatar of Fire to try and make all bleed magnitude based on fire damage.
It works in the tooltip of the Rake skill showing 100% bleed and a magnitude based off of the pure fire damage. However in practice once the Notable Avatar of Fire is turned on bleed no longer triggers regardless of having taken bloodbarbs. I can provide a screenshot of this if needed.
Maybe this is intentional requiring the player to have "some" physical damage to trigger bleed but it seems like it is at odds with the bloodbarb skill which allows elemental damage to count towards bleed magnitude.
If the point is to not allow this for the bleed mechanic then it would be appreciated that the tooltip for bleed be updated so that it does not give the false impression that the skill can still inflict bleed. Or if it is actually a bug then I would greatly appreciate a fix for this, the build has been fun so far, it is not overly powerful but the mix of bleed and fire damage to trigger ignites... is a fun visual and seems to fall inline with the idea of making unique builds based on ascendancy passives without being game breaking. The end goal was to try and make use of Saitha's Spear unique which seemed almost made for this, but at this point it may be a wasted unique since trying to specc bleed and ignite without bloodbarbs/Avatar of Fire would be way too costly in the passive tree.
