Sekhema trial point granting

When using a 3 boss trial "key" i couldnt get skillpoints after the 2nd boss, even tho i havent finished the second boss before.
Dont know if this is intended but seems incredibly unfair if it is.

So you had only 2 points with your character when you killed the boss, no points from chaos trail in act 3 ?

I didn't tryed it this way but if you kill the final 3. or 4. boss of the trail you get all missing points for example if you join with a new char a friend only killing the 4. boss you get alle 8 points at once.
