Thaumaturgic Dust disappear

I've been disenchanting uniques, gathering dust and stockpiled a decent amount - something between 300k ~ 1mil dust on Kingsmarch storage - nothing crazy for PoE standards. However, I logged in today and was surprised when I saw that my dust is completely gone. Dust storage is now at zero, while other crops/resources remain seemingly untouched. I know this is a random question but is there a mechanic regarding the dust amount, a limit, an expiry or whatever reason/mechanic for this to may have happened? Maybe something like a shipment got intercepted by pirates or w/e? This is my first time interacting with Kingsmarch/Settlers mechanics and I couldn't find much info on this elsewhere. "Im only aware of two ways to reduce dust: 1) Recombinator. Getting dust to exactly zero with this however seems quite unlikely. So this is pretty much out. 2) Shipping. Moving the slider fully to the right side will get rid of all the dust. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

" Thanks for the reply. I have not use the Recombinator at all, other than moving it around the hideout and opening it - no recombs were made. I'm starting to think that your 2) is the most plausible answer, other than a Game Bug. Are you talking about in league or in standard? There was an issue with dust migrating to standard at the end of last league for alot of people.

dust doesnt expire or disappear. if you used the recombinator, it uses up your dust. and you can also send it in shipments.
