WEAPON SWAP BRICKED MY SCEPTRE SPIRIT AND NOTHING WILL FIX IT.. AT MY END

Ok the issue I'm having is all sceptres don't give spirit any more after switching my spear and sceptre from weapons slot 2 to weapons slot 1. I did this to test out one of the super cool support gem Rigwald's Ferocity with tempest flurry (says in description offer more damage less attack speed depending on the weapon slot it is in. I was not sure which was better for my build. so swapping back and forth between the to slots is essential to effectively test it out) No matter what i do now the bonus spirit from sceptre still doesn't appear after i swapped hands from quarterstaff to spear with omen scepter in left hand. Somehow the spirit is just gone and I guess allocated to the abyss O.o LOL tried all the troubleshooting suggested on internet ..weapon swap with manual button, unequip/reequip everything even all support gems, unequip/reequip all equipment, redid the whole passive tree twice wasting a bunch of gold and tried using many other septres and NOTHING WORKS very frustrated and can't get it to work... I need your help and expertise to fix this and so I can test it later and not have same outcome if I swap weapons or sceptres or a way that it is not possible to mess this up just spent 4 hours of my time re-specing unequipping weapon swapping to no avail and still character is a brick. Spent tons of time on this game 2800hrs...and a bunch of money too. I have introduced a bunch of other friends in this game also that had never heard of it. Im an officer in my good buddies guild and was absolutely loving the game until this... never did i think simply switching weapon slots would destroy my build. Especially when the new unique support gems offered in rise of the abyssal offer different buffs depending on the hand your weapon is in like Rigwald's Ferocity that basically begs you to switch weapon sets and risk all sceptres in the game rendered Spiritless. I understand the inner workings of the game is quite complicated and its not always an easy solution. Just really hope someone can fix this for me and it stay fixed. I will try my best to be patient on the matter but if i don't find a solution soon Im done playing for good.. my time is valuable and cant spend forever trying to fix issues that shouldn't be an issue to begin with.
I was trying to test damage difference between more attack speed and more damage on tempest flurry has me with nothing but regret. Makes me scared to try anything new which was the main attraction to this game. I have played since early access, then dawn of hunt and now rise of abyssal. Love this game and what you all have created just wish there was a solution. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP.
