Minion Instability and Prolonged Servitude

Prolonged Servitude: Minions cannot be killed, but die 6 seconds after being reduced to 1 life.

Minion Instability: Minions explode when reduced to low life

Low Life: 50% or less

I am reducing my minions life to low life but NOT to 1 life. Minion Instability is killing my minions. I would think that given the wording for Prolonged Servitude would keep them alive. Is this a bug?

I feel like the first 4 words in Prolonged Servitude are being ignored by your logic? I don't know if I'm just not understanding what you're trying to say or what, but to me, this keystone is essentially saying: Minions cannot be killed unless they have been reduced to 1 life at which point they will die 6 seconds later.

That's just a bot that changes part of your quote to some shady link and slaps on some AI generated response.

I wondered maybe this is because minions that suicide don't count as being killed. But no, they do.

Really hoping to get some insight into this?
I think the "Explode" wording in Minion Instability supersedes the "Cannot be Killed" wording in Prolonged Servitude. Not sure why but it just does and I'm sure there's some better explanation for it.
My question though is do the minions get the 15% more damage for the MI explosion when you have this node selected? I would assume yes but am unsure. PoB doesn't seem to think so even if I type "minions deal 15% more damage while on low life" into the custom modifiers.
