Currency Exchange fails to detect House of Mirrors card in Divination Tab
|
Summary:
The Currency Exchange interface intermittently refuses to acknowledge the presence of a House of Mirrors divination card when it is stored within the Divination Card Stash Tab. The defect is consistently reproducible after zoning out of the Hideout and returning before attempting to sell the card. Environment:
Description: When attempting to sell a House of Mirrors divination card via the Currency Exchange, the system incorrectly reports that no such card is present, despite the card being stored in the Divination Card Stash Tab. The behaviour suggests that the client is failing to refresh or repoll the stash contents following re-entry into the Hideout. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Place a House of Mirrors divination card in the Divination Card Stash Tab. 2. Leave the Hideout. 3. Re-enter the Hideout. 4. Attempt to sell the House of Mirrors card via the Currency Exchange. 5. Observe that the Currency Exchange does not detect the card. Expected Result: Currency Exchange should correctly identify and list the House of Mirrors card stored in the Divination Card Stash Tab. Actual Result: The House of Mirrors card is not detected until the user manually alters its location. Workarounds Identified:

Is this for all cards or just the House of Mirrors card?
Faustus only pre-loads the leftmost Currency tab plus inventory in the instance for the Owned tab. Resetting the instance requires re-opening all tabs that you want to show in Owned tab. Same logic applies to Essences: -Enter hideout -Open Faustus -No Essences detected in Owned -Open Essence Tab -Open Faustus -Essences detected in Owned -Leave and re-enter hideout -Open Faustus -No Essences detected in Owned |

" Regardless, this is a bug and should not require such workarounds. |

It's not a bug. That is how they chose to load Faustus. I believe they even stated as much in one of the QA's about why it didn't load more tabs to prevent hideout strain every time you loaded the hideout.
You want Faustus to load every tab and it takes up to 30 seconds extra to load into your hideout after every map, including when you aren't planning to list on Faustus? Here's the suggestions forums: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/feedback |

I'm not digging through every interview/QA discussing Exchange to timestamp the discussion about the technical limitations of Exchange. It doesn't change that is how it is currently coded, has been coded that way for both PoE 1 and PoE 2 (not div cards specifically, but all non-currency tabs only loading when opened per instance), and has been bug reported dozens of times in both games with no change since added 1.5 years ago.
That is how it is designed and if you want to insist it is a bug, chances are you thread will get buried with all the others wanting to report it as a bug. You will save a lot of hassle for yourself either adapting to open the desired tab before interacting with Faustus. Or have a normal tab of various items that you check the price of regularly as your first tab so you can click on that before clicking on Faustus. Or if you are mass liqudating, I move all the items to my inventory and price check with ctrl click to the "I Have" and can move through items must faster. If it is an item you are not planning to sell and just price check regularly, I've even seen one person go as far as to create a fake trade just to pin the search. Like buying a House of Mirrors for 1 divine. And then you can ctrl click the search to fast load it, flip the trade, and check the price to save a lot of time. Some weird flipping strategy they did that I have no interest in, but the option is there. Best of luck to you in whatever scenario you opt for. I'm just passing along information. |

" Ok great, it's a bug then. FYI if you keep posting without providing a source i will be reporting your posts for spam. Hopefully someone from GGG will acknolwedge the thread. Last edited by PoeAccount#2973 on Nov 21, 2025, 11:24:28 AM
