No new audio devices appear after NoSound Driver fallback

I only have 1 sound device plugged in, my headphones, and when I check the audio device dropdown it is the only device that appears.

When i unplug them, the game falls back to the "NoSound Driver" device, but after pluggin them back in, no new sound devices appear in the dropdown, forcing me to restart the game to have the audio device recognized.

Happens both when having the specific audio device selected and when using "Default" mode.
