Abyss Mechanic eternally spawning adds.

Like the title says, I am farming abyss for the league challenge, and have discovered since the earlier today that I downloaded, that my abyss's that I am farming will progress as normal, then when I get to the final phase where you would get the abyssal trove or depts, but instead it is just continuously spawning more adds. No experience is being given nor are any items dropping. This is indefinite on the DUNES map.
